entre for Farmers’ Rehabilitation of the Farmers’ Social Security Fund is a modern sanatorium complex, situated on the border of the picturesque Southern Roztocze, surrounded by nature unpolluted by civilization with its own park and covered swimming pool ‘Aquatic World’.
The rehabilitation rooms are modern, well-equipped and provide professional care by the personnel. The center performs the following procedures: kinesitherapy, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, cryotherapy, classical massage and treatments using natural healing materials: therapeutic mud and sulfide waters destined to treat the disorders of organs of movement and rheumatic diseases.
Treatment profile:
- rheumatic diseases of organs of movement, in particular rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, gout,
- degenerative spine diseases and diseases of joints,
- post-traumatic states of bones, joints and soft tissue,
- states after orthopedic surgeries and neurosurgeries: osteitis; muscle, ligaments, nerves, vessels sculpting; surgical repair of dislocated joints; removed discs,
- faulty postures and curvatures of the spine with chronic pain syndrome causing impairment of motor organs,
- disorders of motor functions caused by diseases of the nerve- muscle system including: states after strokes (not earlier than six months after the stroke with independence in self-care), multiple sclerosis during the remission phase, diseases and consequences of injuries of the nervous system with the damage of the peripheral neuronal pathway with pain syndromes and motor disorders,
- soft tissue pain syndromes.
The mild and mildly stimulating climate with continental features helps to improve the well-being of patients with cardiovascular disorders, especially those suffering from hypertension.
The centre offers accommodation in esthetic single and double/twin rooms with a sanitary unit, a TV, a radio set, a telephone and wireless Internet access. Total accommodation capacity – 260 people.
In their free time, patients may use the library, gym, billiards, table tennis, bike rental, nordic walking poles, football pitch, volleyball and badminton courts. The centre offers attractive walking and bike tours across Roztocze and coach trips to Lwów, Zamość, Łańcut, Leżajsk, Przemyśl and Krasiczyn.
The centre has a covered swimming pool ‘Aquatic World’ with a full size swimming pool, a rehabilitation and recreational swimming pool with hydro attractions, tunnel slide, sauna and salt cave. The rehabilitation offer of the centre, apart from typical healing treatments, also includes wellness treatments.
