The Centre for Farmers’ Rehabilitation in Iwonicz-Zdrój organizes convalescent stays and therapeutic holidays. It specializes in rehabilitation of motor disorders, including orthopaedic, rheumatic and neurological disorders. It is a six floor building with 180 beds in double and four-bed rooms and suites.
Facilities at the Centre include:
- rooms for individual and group therapeutic gymnastics
- swimming pool, which in morning hours performs a rehabilitating function and in the afternoons– recreational
- numerous physiotherapy rooms (diadynamic, interdyn + vac, tens, magnetronic, ultrasound, sollux lamp, galvanizer, therapuls, bioptron lamp, diathermy, rotary massage chair)
- room for aerosolotherapy
warm and cold gel compresses- rooms for manual massage
- hydrotherapy rooms equipped with: a tub for under-water automatic massage, a device for alternating hot and cold stream baths of upper and lower limbs, a rotary massage device for upper and lower limbs, and an aquavibron.
